The SSMC HIV Conference 2027 invites healthcare professionals, clinicians, researchers, scientists and academics to submit abstracts highlighting original research, clinical findings, innovative approaches and emerging developments in HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment and patient-centered care.

The conference provides a valuable platform to share scientific knowledge, present evidence-based findings, exchange clinical experiences and contribute to advancing HIV research and healthcare practices.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Please review the requirements before submitting your abstract.

Online Submission

All abstracts must be submitted through the official SSMC HIV Conference 2027 online abstract submission platform. Submissions via email or fax will not be accepted.

Language Requirements

Abstracts must be written in clear, professional English. All accepted abstracts must also be presented in English during the conference.

Scientific Review

All submitted abstracts will undergo evaluation by the Conference Committee based on scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodology and contribution to HIV research and clinical practice.

Presentation Format

Accepted abstracts may be selected for oral or poster presentation. The Committee reserves the right to determine the final presentation format based on the scientific evaluation and conference programme requirements.

Presenter Registration

The presenting author of an accepted abstract must complete conference registration and settle the applicable registration fees to be eligible to present at the conference.

Scientific Relevance

Abstracts must be relevant to the conference's scientific scope and should address important developments, clinical challenges, innovative practices or research findings related to HIV medicine and public health.

Acceptance Notification

Authors will be notified of the review outcome through the email address provided during submission. Successful applicants will receive further instructions regarding their assigned presentation format and requirements.

Changes and Withdrawals

Any requests for amendments or withdrawal of submitted abstracts must be communicated to the conference organizing committee. Changes following the submission deadline may be subject to approval.

Final Decision

The Committee reserves the right to accept, reject or reassign abstracts to the most appropriate presentation category. All decisions made by the committee shall be final.
